My 3 Maternity Must Haves

As so many of you know, pregnancy is rough on your body! It’s such a beautiful miracle that women are able to carry and bear children but that doesn’t mean that it doesn’t come with a fair amount of discomfort and pain. That is why I have three items I’m sharing with you that have truly made a difference in my pregnancy. Whether that be helping me continue to stay active in my pregnancy, get a good night sleep (except for needing to use the restroom about 10 times but that’s unfixable haha), or simply helping me feel comfy and yet fashionable from day to day.

Must Have Item #1- The Bellifly Maternity and Feeding Pillow. This pillow has been a game changer for my sleep while being pregnant! It has two different perfectly sized pillows attached together that are also the perfect distance apart for all of your maternity needs. The way that I like to use this pillow is I put one of the pillows between my knees and the other tucked under my belly. My body feels so supported, its amazing. I also love that it has two ribbon tabs on each pillow that allows you to tie them up and neatly put the pillow away. No more taking up your under the bed storage with huge body pillows :).

The best part about the Bellifly Pillow is that its not just a pillow to use to help you sleep, it can also double as a maternity pillow. Two items for the price of one?? That is exactly the type of item that I love and will use for years to come!

Must Have Item #2- Belly Bandit’s Upsie Belly Band. This has literally been a lifesaver for me. I vowed that if possible, I would workout my whole pregnancy. Well around week 20, I started feeling intense round ligament pain as I was running. It got so bad that I couldn’t run without tears streaming down my face and eventually effected me as I was teaching (due to the amount of time I spent on my feet each day). I found the Upsie Belly Band out of sheer desperation and from the second I put it on it took away my day to day pain and minimized my pain while running IMMENSELY. I am now 36 weeks and still running but its only possible if I have my belly band.

This Belly Band is also a two in one item! It is used to help with growing belly pain like I mentioned but also can be used to help you heal postpartum. It comes with an ice pack that is the perfect size to enter into the slot on the back of the band that will help ease pain and promote healing.

The workout tank I’m wearing below is from Great Expectations Maternity line… $7.88 thank you VERY much!

Must Have Item #3– Great Expectations Maternity T-Shirt Dress. Wearing comfy clothes has been so important to me through my pregnancy journey but it definitely hasn’t always been easy to find things that are cute AND comfy. So when I found this dress that is in two different colors, I couldn’t be happier. I LOVE that I can wear this dress in so many different ways! It can be dressed up by throwing on a blazer or a fancy kimono and heels. It can even be dressed down with a button up and sneaks (like I have it styled here), or semi down with a kimono and flats.

The best part about this dress is that it is under $17! I have a hard time spending money on maternity clothes but when they are that cheap and I wear them basically every day… I can justify that :).
