When I had my first born I was packed for the hospital a couple weeks early but didn’t pack some crucial essentials and I was not prepared! With the twins I packed while I was having intense contractions and once again, forgot a lot of essentials. So I’m thinking that the third time’s charm to getting my hospital bag just right- which is why I’m starting now! I’m not even close to being done yet but we’ve got a good start!
Here’s what I’ve got so far in my hospital bag for baby #4:
1. CeraVe Baby Wash and Shampoo and Moisturizing Lotion
Both of these products are products that I use as well! So I am putting them in my hospital bag for myself and for baby’s first bath.
The CeraVe baby wash and shampoo cleanses without drying and is so soft on baby’s sensitive skin. Their moisturizing option is lightweight and delivers amazing hydration that lasts all day! Both products are dermatologist-developed as well!
I am bringing this to help my baby start to establish sleep and wake times in the hospital. Something I had always wished I started on while in the hospital with my other three kids.
Each toy incorporates multiple play patterns and grow-with-me elements. They have a new collection that features nine awesome developmental toys!
The one that I am definitely bringing to the hospital with me is this adorable Puffaboo Elephant. It has crinkly ears and it squeaks. It’s just absolutely adorable!
3. Philips Avent Anti-colic bottle with AirFree vent and Philips Avent Soothie Snuggle
I usually end up either pumping or using formula for my babies in the hospital and I have always hated the bottles that the hospital gives you! From my experience they aren’t anti colic AT ALL. These bottles from Philips Avent are incredible. The unique AirFree vent keeps the nipple full of milk, not air and supports upright feeding—even when the bottle is held in a horizontal position.
The soothie snuggle is the cutest, softest, and most convenient pacifier holder. It holds the pacifier in place and my babies have always LOVED these soothie snuggle’s.
4. Stonz Footwear
Their toddler bootie is totally going in my hospital bag! Baby sis is going to be born in December and I’m especially worried about her being cold in the car on our way home. These bootie’s are easy to slip on and have two ways to adjust it onto baby’s foot.
These pink cruisers are SO cute and I can’t wait until she gets to grow into these. The cruiser’s are based on scientific research and designed to support early walking. They have sturdy ankle support and a flexible sole. Perfect to help your baby with their balance!
5. T.N. Dickinsons Witch Hazel
There are two products from T.N Dickinsons that I love! Their Witch Hazel Hemorrhoidal Pads with Aloe. These are so much better than the ones that the hospital gives you! They are 100% natural with no dyes or fragrances.
I also love their Witch Hazel 100% Natural Astringent because it is so versatile! You can even use it daily on your face & body to relieve oily, irritated, red, damaged, and blemished skin. This is perfect for postpartum care!
6. Oilogic Slumber & Sleep Essential Oil Linen Mist
I absolutely love this linen mist! It’s a genius way to help baby calm down and sleep better. It’s formulated specifically for baby with essential lavender and chamomile oils and it works amazing as a sleep spray! It’s formulated for babies 0+ too!
I have also been using the Oilogic Stuffy Nose & Cough Essential Oil Vapor Bath on my kids when they’re sick for over a year now and I absolutely love it! It uses the natural power of Essential oils to open airways and calm coughing. This stuff is absolutely incredible!
What else would you add to your hospital bag?
