Do you have boys & girls in your house? Well, you have come to the right place because I have listed out my very favorite Easter basket must haves for boys & girls in this post!
We love Easter in our house! We actually used to have a pirate come do a pirate treasure hunt for Easter hahaha (it’s a long story) but last year when Evie was finally old enough to really get into Easter we switched it to the regular old Easter bunny and we named him Bugsy :). He was a hit!
All of the products that I included in my kids’ Easter Baskets are very interactive and that’s my favorite part about them! Interactive toys like these ones help to create memorable holidays with my family and I wouldn’t have it any other way!
Hasbro is one of my favorite toy companies because they’re toys are aways more than just toys. They are toys that get the kids engaged in doing something and even better, they are toys that the whole family can pay with!
1. Play-Doh Kitchen Creations Grill ‘N Stamp Playset
We have been a fan of Hasbro’s Play-Doh Kitchen Creations sets for years now but this Grill ‘N Stamp one is our FAVORITE! It is so much fun! All three of my kids, boys and girls, have played with this Play-Doh set for hours on end.
Our favorite way to play with this playset is by pulling it out while I’m cooking dinner. They can sit in the kitchen with me and pretend “cook” their own dinner and they love it so much! I do too, because it keeps them entertained while I’m busy :).
This sets approximate retail price is under $15 and is available at most major toy retailers nationwide.
2. Baby Alive Sunshine Snacks Baby
We LOVE Baby Alive products! I actually gave Baby Alive dolls to my daughters for Christmas. These dolls make kids feel like they are actually taking care of a baby and it’s such a cute thing to watch! Plus it really empowers them and I love that.
The package includes solid reusable doll food, ice pop mold and stick. Your kids can make ice pop shapes to feed the baby! The click-change diaper flap also makes changing-time a breeze for this baby doll that eats and “poops.” Just pop open the plastic-molded diaper’s flap, empty it, then play again! SO MUCH FUN!
The approximate retail price is under $25 and available at most major toy retailers nationwide.
These Furreal toys are such a fun time! Believe it or not, my little boy was OBSESSED with this toy! He loves feeding the kitten with the food accessory that it comes with and hearing it make such cute noises to let him know they’re happy!
They have color-change eyes to reveal they’re mood! When they’re sleepy, their eyes are blue; when green, you know they’re hungry. Red eyes? They’re just a bit cranky! Yellow eyes mean they’re feeling happy.
The approximate retail price is under $15 and available at most major toy retailers nationwide.
4. My Little Pony Smashin’ Fashion Sunset Shimmer & My Little Pony Smashin’ Fashion Rainbow Dash
These My Little Pony dolls totally took me back! I remember LOVING My Little Pony as a child! The girls especially loved these! They are completely posable and they stand up and sit down on their own. They even come with TONS of fashion accessories so your little ones can dress them up, change they’re outfits and change they’re accessories to fit whatever imagination play they’re doing at the moment!
The approximate retail price is under $8 and available at most major toy retailers nationwide.
Every Easter growing up my parent’s would give us a game to play as a family over spring break! It was one of my favorite traditions by far! We would spend hours and hours playing games and connecting as a family over spring break- no matter where we were!
This Foosketball game is a BLAST! It is definitely for older kids so make sure you keep that in mind but it’s a fast paced game and very entertaining. You could even do a family “Foosketball tournament” over Easter break and see who in your family comes out on top! Your whole family will absolutely love this game.
What were some of your families Easter traditions growing up? I would love to hear them!
