We love fruit in our house! Every single time I go to the grocery store I make sure to pick out 3-4 fresh fruits for us to enjoy all week long. We have several different ways we enjoy fruits. In this post, I will highlight our favorite ways to eat fruit!
As soon as I get home from the store, before anyone eats any fruit I wash our fruits with Arm & Hammer Fruit & Vegetable Wash. This stuff is AMAZING and with the number of things I have seen come out of my fruits and vegetables after washing them with this stuff I will never not use it again (hello, SPIDERS, seriously!).

Now on to our favorite ways to eat fruit:
- With Reddi-whip or homemade whipped cream sweetened with maple syrup- I have been trying to include more whole foods into our diets so if I have time I’ll make homemade whipped cream and dipping any kind of fruit into whipped cream is SO YUMMY! My whole family loves it!
- Dipped in chocolate- I know, I know, this comes as a surprise to no one. But have you ever dipped a grape into chocolate? It’s SO GOOD! I think most people think of strawberries when they think of fruit dipped chocolate but I have tried everything and loved it all. I don’t do anything special either, just warm up about ¼ c of dark chocolate semi-sweet morsels and dip away.
- Sprinkled with sugar-free jello- hear me out. I haven’t tried this with every fruit but I do this with bananas and grapes frequently and it’s delicious! I just put my fruit in a bowl, then take a little bit of a jello packet and sprinkle it over the fruit very lightly. My jello packets usually last me 4-5 times of making this treat. It just adds a little zing and tastes like an extra yummy treat! My favorite combo is strawberry jello mix and chilled grapes.
