I started the Medifast Go program at the very end of September and in my first post I said that I would be doing a series of 8 different posts to show you my postpartum weight loss journey as it progressed! I just finished the Medifast Go program and I have learned so much about myself though the process!
One of the craziest (and probably the biggest) thing that I learned through this process is just how CRUCIAL it is to take before and after pictures as well as measure yourself when you are trying to lose weight. I am going to be bold enough to say that it’s even more important than weighting yourself. Seriously! I didn’t measure, I really wish would have but I did take pictures and it made all of the difference. Here’s why:
I did the Medifast Go program through the holidays whichhhh was a problem in and of itself because I always always always struggle around the holidays. Every single year I have gained a solid 5-10 lbs. I’m not even joking. I will be the first to admit that I did not stick perfectly to the Medifast program through November and December (annnnd even some of January). I definitely feel like if I had my weight loss would have been even better! But with that preface and without further adieu, here is my final weight loss number….. 7.5 lbs. I lost 7.5 lbs. This is why I was SO worried to take my after pictures because I just didn’t think that 7.5 lbs would really show in pictures at all! But I took the pictures and was so surprised! I actually did see a difference and that’s when I wished that I would have measured because I’m sure that my measurements would have been even more impressive!
In case you missed them in my last post, here are my before and after pictures!
