3 Reasons Why You Should Buy My Baby Monitor

Let me tell you a little bit about my hubs, he is what I would call a “techy” working for Apple, the man knows every single thing that one needs to know about anything technological. I consider myself very lucky because in this technological world, its REALLY nice to have a techy around… and he’s hot so that a plus #amiright. Because he is so smart with technology, when it came time to find which baby monitor to buy, I put him in charge of the search. He searched for days, making sure that we found the perfect monitor that fit all of our needs and, most importantly, fit within our price range (lets be real, babies are expensive!). The monitor that he came up with is the VTech Safe&Sound DM271-110 Digital Audio Monitor.

There are so many reasons why you should buy this monitor I could go on for days but for fear of boring you, I narrowed it down to my 3 favorite ones!

1. Peace of mind– there really isn’t a price to put on having piece of mind. As an anxious first time mom, I want eyes on my babe at all times. So instead of literally sitting in her room and watching er sleep, (this has happened you guys….I know, I need some major help) I have this monitor that not only has up to 1,000 feet of range so I can freely take the parent sensor with me into any room, but it also comes with DECT 6.0 digital technology to make sure no outsiders are eavesdropping on my monitor audio. It also has vibrating alerts and a temperature sensor so I don’t have to stare at the screen to know that she’s doing okay and that the temperature is where it needs to be to keep her comfy.
2. It grows with your child- I love that this monitor is not only perfect for my life with a newborn, it also provides incredible opportunities to help with toddlerhood and beyond. It comes with the audio baby monitor AND motion sensors so you can make sure your busy toddler isn’t in areas of the house considered “off limits”. It will alert you if the door that you attach the sensor to is opened. Plus, with all of VTech’s products additional sensors can be added to the system to keep an eye on multiple children in different rooms.
3. Functional, stylish, and Soothing- I had to put all of these into one category, I couldn’t narrow it down :S. With VTech Digital Audio Baby Monitor you don’t have to choose between style and design or features and functionality. It fits into Evie’s nursery decor with ease and most of the items are virtually unnoticeable. I love that the DM271-110 baby unit doubles as a glow-on-ceiling night light that projects the moon and stars onto the ceiling and plays a gentle lullaby. Evie absolutely loves it! Most of the time she will stare at the night light until she goes to sleep, its very soothing to her. But my favorite part is that it features a two-way, talk back intercom so I can talk to her if she is fussy or sad without actually going into her nursery and disturbing or stimulating her more.
