Okay guys, I’m 36 weeks along in this crazy pregnancy journey and I’m so excited to meet baby girl, I can hardly even stand it! It’s pretty much all my hubs and I ever talk about. WE ARE DYING!! I feel so grateful every single day that I have been able to have a healthy pregnancy. My heart goes out to anyone who is struggling or has struggled with infertility or infancy loss. I can’t even imagine the pain and struggle you have gone through. I pray for you daily.
With that said, I have two of my favorite non maternity looks to show you today! As you know, I have a WAY hard time forking out the dough on pretty much anything, but especially things that I feel are unnecessary. Maternity wear is one of those things. Typically when you are big enough in your pregnancy to actually need maternity clothes, you are already a few months into it. Thus, you only get to wear these items for like 5 months or less. Good thing there’s a remedy for that! These days with the awesome flowey trends, there are so many items you can wear that are maternity friendly but aren’t considered “maternity”. Posey and Pence is one of my favorite Instagram sales companies that have so many maternity friendly options!
The only item in either of these two looks that is considered maternity are my pants in look #1. Those are maternity pants from H&M but of course I only paid $8.50 for them :). H&M has their maternity on sale often, these were only $10 but I used one of my 15% off coupons (I never buy at H&M without a coupon…. I’ll be doing a post on this soon!) to buy them so it took the price down to $8.50. Also, I made the holes in the knees…don’t worry I’ll be doing a post on this soon as well!
Look #1: Pants and necklace H&M // Shirt Posey and Pence // Hat Target // Bracelets Paisley and Sparrow // Diaper Bag Little Unicorn
Look #2: Dress Posey and Pence // Vest H&M // Shoes and Necklace Target // Diaper Bag Little Unicorn
And my absolute FAVORITE nude lipstick that I’m wearing in both of these looks is Nyx Lip Lingere in the color Satin Ribbon….get it now! You will be so happy that you did :).

Totally agree about maternity wear – I’m 22 weeks and think it’s so pointless for the amount of time you will get wear out of them. I just stick with maternity leggings that cost next to nothing & stretchy t-shirts, not the most flattering of outfits but comfy! Love your outfits though, will definitely use these as inspiration for the summer 🙂

Gemma, thanks so much for your comment! I totally agree with you! And don’t be fooled, my GO TO is cheap maternity leggings and stretchy shirts. There’s no other way to live while being pregnant! 🙂 Congrats to you and good luck!! You’re half way there 🙂
