Princess Makeup Tutorial & The Best Halloween Makeup Remover

October 19, 2015 by whitjxoxo

This shop has been compensated by Collective Bias, Inc. and its advertiser. All opinions are mine alone. I would never recommend a product that I didn’t genuinely love and think would benefit my followers #HallowCleanFaceOff #CollectiveBias

After much debate and sleepless nights (literally, at one point I was going to be Madame Maxime…ya know Hagrid’s girlfriend, here’s a pic in case you’re lost). I decided that I am going to re-live my childhood dreams and be a princess for Halloween!

Thus, I have created the easiest princess makeup tutorial that you will ever watch. Seriously guys, I consider myself a makeup amateur and it was the easiest thing I haver ever attempted. The result was better than I ever thought it would be! I used almost all Neutrogena products, products that are either already in your makeup bag or are easy to run out and grab without spending tons of money.  The best part about it is that these products are long lasting and incredibly good for your skin. Win-win? I think so!

At the end of this tutorial, I take on the challenge of using one Neutrogena makeup remover towlette to try to remove my whole entire look, including the stubborn waterproof mascara! Can I do it? Stick around to find out!

Now for the one towlette challenge! Here are my results:

*NOTE: I have eyelash extensions on my top lashes and permanent makeup on my brows…so thats why those two areas weren’t completely removed.

So as you can see, the wipe perfectly and effortlessly removed all traces of my long lasting makeup EVEN my waterproof mascara. These wipes are so nice because not only do they take off your makeup in less than two minutes, they are gentle on your skin. You can even wipe around your eye area and not have to worry about your contacts or any eye irritation.

Before I go to sleep, I love to actually wash my face (it’s really therapeutic for me…am I weird?). The Neutrogena Ultra Light Cleansing Oil is the perfect formula for that and very similar to the wipes. It completely cleans skin and removes makeup, even waterproof mascara, with no greasy residue. Here are three easy peasy steps on how to apply the cleansing oil:

  1. Your face and hands need to be dry. Then apply 3-4 pumps of the cleansing oil onto your hands and softly smooth over your face.
  2. Massage oil all over your face including eye area (nope! it won’t irritate your eyes at all…amazing, I know!)
  3. Rinse your face with water.

Even though its cleansing “oil” it won’t clog your pores and  has been tested by  Dermatologist to be perfectly good for your face!

You can pick up both of these products at your local Walmart in the makeup section by all of the face cleansers. I paid less than $5 for the towlettes…$5?! It’s so conveient, I would definitely be willing to pay double that.

So what are you going to be for Halloween? I would love to see what you create. You can show off your Halloween look and how you used Neutrogena Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelettes to remove your festive look using #HallowCleanFaceOff on Instagram or Twitter!
