I’m A Rule Breaker

I’m not a fan of keeping rules that don’t make sense to me…don’t tell my students that I said this haha. Thus, the whole “don’t wear white after Labor Day” rule is so not one of those rules that I am going to keep. Wearing white in the Fall and Winter has become one of my most favorite things. Here are three reasons why:

1. White looks fantastic against Fall colors, it’s so crisp and clean, it creates such a beautiful look.
2. It makes you look tan… lets be honest, around this time of year, I really start to feel pastey. However, no matter how pastey I get, I will never be as white as the color white.
3. When you wear white after labor day you stand out and standing out is one of my favorite things. After all, “you will never influence the world by trying to be like it.”

I LOVE this dress, its so absolutely flattering and unique. My favorite part about it is that it is perfectly transitional. It’s beautiful to wear in the summer, so nice and breezy. But all you have to do is layer it with a cardigan and maybe a hat…boom! You have a beautiful Fall outfit just like I styled it here.
