Today I start “Frugal Friday” series and I am so excited about it! I have some great companies lined up to be a part of this series, I promise that you will not be disappointed. Every Friday I will be showing you how you can create a kill outfit for under $100, sometimes even under $50.
Beauty on a budget is really important to me, here’s why: My hubs and I just graduated from college this past April. Being college students, paying for our education, and working part time didn’t give me much wiggle room for new and/or expensive clothes. However, I have a passion for fashion that I (or my poor hubs) can’t ignore. So, I had to find a way to still appease my passion but stay within a budget. I started to search out deals everywhere I went (or shopped on line). If I didn’t have coupon for it or it wasn’t a certain percentage off then I wouldn’t buy it. I still found a way to stay on trend. Believe it or not it is possible and in this series I am going to show you how!
Here are the outfit deets:
Kimono: $23 Jane.com from vendor Three Brunettes Boutique
Flowey top: $12 Jane.com from vendor Stella B. Clothing
Pants: $22 from Target (with $5 off coupon from their weekly ad and my Red Debit card, saves you 5% every time you shop no matter what and the best part is that its not a credit card 🙂
Shoes: $20 from Target (shoe sale, buy one get one half off. They do this promotion often. But I just saw this exact pair there for under $19 right now!)
Clutch: $5 from Magnolia Mill (this company is seriously amazing she ALWAYS offers free shipping on everything and several times a WEEK she posts deals for $5 off your order or 20% off your order, etc. I got this clutch over half off on one of her sales, it’s originally $12 which is still an amazing price!)
Bar Necklace: $8 Three Chicks Couture (with 30% off coupon, the shop owner is amazing, she posts deals all of the time! If you see something you love in her shop chances are she will be posting a coupon code soon and you can snag it up then!)
Bracelets: $4 from Target (off of their sale rack by the accessories, they put things there after them being on the shelf for like a month so if you see something you love for full price, wait a few weeks and you will find it on the sale rack for 50% -or more- off).
Sunglasses: $5 from Forever 21
Total Price= $99
